From a young age, I've been fascinated by the art of problem-solving, a skill nurtured by the esteemed faculty at the College of Fine Arts Trivandrum. My Bachelor's degree in Applied Art laid the groundwork for a diverse career path.
Following a year as a wildlife photographer for the Kerala Forest Department, I dived into the advertising and media industry.
The next 17 years saw me grow from Junior Art Director at JWT to Creative Head at Rediffusion Y&R Mumbai, building, mentoring and super-charging creative teams, while fostering robust and meaningful relations with an eclectic mix of clients.
Throughout my advertising career, I worked with some of the world’s top agencies such as Ogilvy, JWT, Lintas, Leo Burnett, and DDB Mudra. I crafted campaigns for iconic brands like Volkswagen, Cadbury, Adidas, Bajaj, SBI, Heinz, Van Heusen, Levi's, Kingfisher, McDowell's, Times Now, and Tata Motors.
The work produced for these clients garnered recognition at prestigious international award shows including Cannes, Adfest, New York Festivals, Clio, The Work, London International, Promax Asia, Shorts Magazine Ranking, DMA, Abby's, and Effies.
Seeking new challenges, I moved from advertising to media, joining the Central Creative Communication team at Disney Star India. There, I played a key role in esteemed projects for Star Sports, Disney, Star Plus, National Geographic, and Disney+ Hotstar.
During this period, projects to save the environment ‘The Earth’s Longest Scream’ and ‘The Plastic Trap’ art installations captured global attention and was echoed by Leonardo DiCaprio, TED Talk CEO Chris Anderson, and Shah Rukh Khan.
During my professional stint, I have always found time for knowledge exchange. I have been an empaneled visiting faculty at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). I also conduct workshops and seminars at various art colleges.
I now leverage my extensive experience as an independent ad film director and creative consultant. I collaborate with emerging and established businesses to craft effective advertising ideas.
My passion for story telling took me to the world of feature films as well. Most recently, I served as the Creative Director on the bilingual film Rajini (Malayalam, Tamil / 2023, streaming on Amazon Prime).

Furniture Design
I come from a village of woods, full of huge trees and birds flocking on to them. This fostered my love for trees and their conservation.
When I started designing furniture, the very concept ran against my deep-rooted love for trees. I then started looking at alternatives and realized that I could work on used wood. This gave birth to the idea of recycled wood and its design. Recycle wooden furniture brings in longevity, can be used across generations, and touch emotional codes.
